Cleve brings his leadership experience in both military and industry to lead ZOLL's global military team in uncovering and creating strategic opportunities within the government/military market. Cleve joined ZOLL® in early 2018 after a 28-year career in the U.S Air Force and a 5-year stint with CAE Healthcare as business development leader. Cleve's experience as career field manager for all AF medics and expertise in business development will help further ZOLL's position as the healthcare industry's leader in partnering with the U.S. DOD & International government/military.

Eric Abbott, Vice President, Government/Military Sales - Americas; [email protected]
Eric is responsible for strategic guidance and driving sales opportunities throughout the operational U.S. and LATAM government/military markets. He has 35 years of progressive leadership and management experience in the armed forces and private industry, including over 21 years on active duty with the U.S. Air Force and 3.5 years as a project manager with the U.S. Army Medical Material Agency at Ft. Detrick, MD. Eric also has knowledge of all phases of medical equipment acquisition, procurement, and lifecycle management.

A former paramedic/assistant fire chief and biomedical engineer, Bill has more than 30 years of medical device product development and sales and marketing experience. Over the past 25 years, Bill has worked closely with the U.S. and international militaries in developing several new products and obtaining 12 new patents. His clinical and technical expertise provides strategic guidance in driving sales for both military and government opportunities.

Dane’s strategic support of ZOLL government accounts over the past 18 years is based on years of military and clinical experience, including leadership roles, within EMS and Homeland Security, as well as sales positions at SIG SAUER Defense Solutions. As a paramedic/fighter, Dane’s knowledge and passion for training has equipped medics with the skills needed to successfully treat patients globally. He retired from service as a reserve chief warrant officer with more than 30 years of experience in joint service expeditionary operations.

Mike came to ZOLL with a background as a firefighter and certified paramedic. He has worked at ZOLL for more than 15 years, beginning with the ZOLL Data Management division, before becoming an integral part of the military sales team in 2016. Mike provides support and training to all branches of the military as well as numerous other branches of the U.S. government. Mike’s experience in the EMS and firefighting world has led him to focus on the government and military AED and BLS markets, with the goal of increasing ZOLL’s presence in those areas.

Mike is a registered respiratory therapist and has held positions as a practicing therapist in civilian, military, and veterans’ hospitals in critical care and trauma care. Mike’s primary responsibility is to provide ventilation expertise, strategic guidance, and support efforts to drive sales opportunities throughout the U.S. government and operational military market. Since 2008, Mike has been an Air Force reservist, serving multiple tours as a member of the Critical Care Aeromedical Transport team.

Matt joined ZOLL after a long and extensive career as a critical care flight paramedic in both the civilian and military worlds. Most recently, Matt was the base manager and supervisor for Classic Air Medical. Perhaps more significantly as it pertains to the team’s mission, Matt spent 22 years in the U.S. Army National Guard as a combat flight paramedic, and he continues to serve as a senior master sergeant in the USAF Reserve.

Pat is one of the longest-tenured employees in ZOLL’s global sales organization. Originally based in Chicago, he was one of the first territory managers. In his current position, he provides strategic guidance across ZOLL’s hospital division regarding current clinical guidelines, procurement, and acquisition in government healthcare facilities. Pat has more than 30 years of experience selling resuscitation solutions and has held senior leadership positions in ZOLL’s LifeVest® and Temperature Management divisions.
