More Current at 200 J than other Biphasic Waveforms at 360 J

Current defibrillates the heart. The ZOLL Rectilinear Biphasic™ waveform (RBW) was designed specifically for external defibrillation to deliver the right dose of average current, over the optimal duration, regardless of patient impedance.

At 200 J, the ZOLL RBW charges the most possible voltage on the capacitor - 2,700V. Internal equipment resistors are added for low impedance patients so they are not "overdosed." Meanwhile, high impedance patients get the most possible current.
