Verizon 4G Modem Kit Now Available for X Series®, Propaq® MD and Propaq M
4G Modem Kit Now Available
We are happy to announce that the Verizon 4G modem kit for the United States is now available as an orderable part. The modem kit will include four components:
- Verizon 4G modem: the 4G modem operates on the LTE Cat M1 network, providing seamless transmission capability.
- Right angle USB power cable: the new modem power cord has an integrated right angle USB connector to provide a single cable power solution.
- Ultra-Wideband Antenna: the antenna with connected coaxial cable prevents breakage in the rugged EMS environment.
- Modem enclosure case: both the power and antenna connections are protected inside this plastic enclosure. Excess coaxial cable can also be stored inside for improved cable management.

System Requirements
Hardware/Software Compatibility
The 4G Verizon modem is compatible with the following X Series / Propaq devices:
- Communications Processor (CP) software release 02.32.036.5796 or later
- Main processor software release 02.32.03.00 and associated CP release 02.32.036.5796 are only compatible with X Series devices that have Communications Processor (CP) hardware version 5 or higher
Note: devices running previous versions of software must be upgraded.
