ZOLL is proud to be supporting “The Coldest Journey” in its 2,000-mile expedition across Antarctica by equipping its medical team with the X Series® Monitor/Defibrillator. Sir Ranulph Fiennes, a world renowned explorer, and his team set out on their extraordinary journey to cross the continent during the polar winter to raise money for the charity, Seeing is Believing, an international initiative aimed at tackling avoidable blindness.
Other explorers are yet to conquer this journey and the team has already faced a number of challenges including Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ early departure from the expedition due to severe frost bite. The team however still plans to complete the journey while Sir Fiennes will continue to support and fundraise for the charity in order to reach its target of $10 million.
